Further information:

This modern solid gold ring is made from recycled gold, hammered by hand and is simple, stylish and modern. Substantial but delicate 2mm width this is a solid gold ring that can be worn everyday. The hammered pattern is individual to each ring and looks like tree bark.

Trees are often seen as symbols of growth, strength, and endurance. They represent the cycle of life and the constant change and evolution of nature. In many cultures, trees are also seen as symbols of wisdom and knowledge, and they are often associated with the idea of a connection between the earth and the heavens.

Also suitable as a wedding or commitment ring this solid recycled gold ring is unique, modern and stylish.

General information about my handmade jewellery

All measurements are approximate. Every pair of earrings and cufflinks are individually made so are not identical or a duplicate but are complimentary partners.

Every piece is made by hand and so will feature ‘imperfections’ that are a sign they have been hand crafted and truly unique.

All of my jewellery makes an ideal gift and is lovingly wrapped in a box or gift bag ready for the recipient. The gift wrapping in the photo is representative of how your jewellery will be presented. I only ever purchase small amounts of packing material so time to time it may change according to what is available. I’m not an advocate of unnecessary packaging so try to use recyclable materials as much as possible.

My solid gold and sterling silver jewellery is tested and usually hallmarked by The Birmingham Assay office according to The Hallmarking Act 1973 and applies to gold over 1 gram and sterling silver over 7.78 grams.

Please note that I do not Rhodium plate white gold as I do not have the facilities and equipment to do so in my tiny workshop.

What is recycled gold and sterling silver?

All of my handmade jewellery uses recycled solid gold and sterling silver.

When it comes to choosing the perfect piece of jewellery, it’s great to consider something that is not only beautiful but also sustainable. One option is by choosing jewellery that has been made from solid recycled gold or sterling silver. Not only does recycled gold and sterling silver reduce the environmental impact of mining, but it also helps to preserve our natural resources, it is just as high quality as newly mined gold and silver.

Recycled gold and sterling silver is an environmentally friendly and socially responsible alternative to mined gold and silver. I purchase my gold and sterling silver from a company that has made the gold or sterling silver into sheet and wire by melting down and purifying existing gold and sterling silver jewellery, coins, and other items. This process conserves natural resources and reduces the negative impacts of gold and silver mining, such as deforestation, habitat destruction, and pollution.

Recycled gold and sterling silver is an excellent choice for those looking to make a more sustainable and socially responsible purchase. It conserves natural resources, has a smaller carbon footprint, supports fair labour practices and is cost-effective. By opting to buy solid gold and sterling silver jewellery made from recycled gold and sterling silver you are making a positive impact on the environment and society.

When choosing your new piece of solid gold or sterling silver jewellery made by hand by me you’ll know that you're making a responsible choice.

Buying gold rings from me

Jewellery has been an important part of human culture for thousands of years, serving not just as a symbol of wealth and status, but also as a powerful symbol of love, devotion, and spiritual beliefs. From the earliest days of human civilization, jewellery has been used to mark important milestones and events, such as births, marriages, and deaths.

One of the most powerful symbols of jewellery is the ring. Rings have been used for centuries to symbolise marriage and commitment. The circle of the ring is a symbol of eternity and infinity, representing the never-ending love and devotion between two people. The engagement ring, in particular, is a symbol of love and commitment, and is often worn on the fourth finger of the left hand, which is believed to have a vein that leads directly to the heart.

I design and create handmade recycled solid gold rings that stand as a testament to both elegance and environmental consciousness. Using 100% recycled solid gold helps you to make a sustainable and considered choice when buying designer handmade jewellery. Every solid gold ring I make is eco friendly.

Here's what sets my handmade recycled solid gold rings apart:

  • Recycled Gold: I take pride in sourcing only the finest recycled solid gold to craft my rings. Recycled gold is equal in quality to unrecycled precious metals, has a positive impact on the environment and helps you to make considered sustainable choices.

  • Artisanal Excellence: With meticulous attention to detail, I handcraft each ring from start to finish. From the initial sketch to the final polish, every stage is a labour of love, ensuring you receive a piece that's as unique as you are.

  • Diverse Designs: My collection showcases a range of designs, from classic to contemporary. Whether you're drawn to the simplicity of a sleek band or the intricacy of hammered texture, there's a design that resonates with your personal style.
