A Thoughtful Start to 2026: Handmade Gold Jewellery Made Just for You
As we step into 2026, I want to take a moment to welcome you and share what SEH Jewellery is all about—and what you can expect from me in the year ahead.

My name is Sian Elizabeth Hughes, and when you choose a piece of jewellery from my collection, you’re choosing something that has been designed, made, finished, packed and posted entirely by my hands. There’s no production line here, no outsourcing—just one maker, working carefully from my UK workshop to create jewellery that’s made to be worn, loved and lived in.
I specialise in handmade 9ct yellow gold jewellery, using recycled gold wherever possible. If you love the warmth and permanence of real gold but also care about sustainability, you’re in the right place. Recycled gold allows me to create beautiful, lasting pieces while respecting the materials and the environment.

My designs are simple, understated and inspired by nature. I’m often influenced by quiet moments outdoors—woodland walks, textured bark, soft light filtering through trees. If you’re someone who feels most at ease in the countryside or values subtle, meaningful details, you’ll likely find something that speaks to you here. My Woodlands Walk jewellery, for example, features a gently hammered bark-like texture that reflects those peaceful outdoor moments without being overly decorative.
Every piece you see is individually handmade, which means no two items are ever exactly the same. That said, I take great care to ensure consistency in design, weight and size. If you order my hammered hoop stud earrings, for instance, you can expect hoops made from 1mm thick gold wire, formed into a 7mm diameter—each pair subtly unique, yet perfectly balanced and wearable.
My jewellery is designed for people who appreciate craftsmanship and want versatile everyday gold jewellery—pieces that feel just as right with a jumper and boots as they do dressed up for an evening out. Many of my customers are drawn to jewellery that feels sentimental, but in a quiet, personal way, rather than anything overly bold or trend-led.

As we move through 2026, my intention is to continue creating jewellery slowly and thoughtfully. I’ll keep working by hand, using recycled gold, and focusing on timeless designs that don’t shout for attention but become part of your everyday life.
Thank you for supporting truly handmade UK jewellery and for choosing pieces made with care, patience and intention. I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to making something special for you.
