When it comes to choosing the perfect piece of jewellery, it’s great to consider something that is not only beautiful but also sustainable. One option is by choosing jewellery that has been made from solid recycled gold or sterling silver. Not only does recycled gold and sterling silver reduce the environmental impact of mining, but it also helps to preserve our natural resources, it is just as high quality as newly mined gold and silver.
Recycled gold and sterling silver is an environmentally friendly and socially responsible alternative to mined gold and silver. I purchase my gold and sterling silver from a company that has made the gold or sterling silver into sheet and wire by melting down and purifying existing gold and sterling silver jewellery, coins, and other items. This process conserves natural resources and reduces the negative impacts of gold and silver mining, such as deforestation, habitat destruction, and pollution.
Recycled gold and sterling silver is an excellent choice for those looking to make a more sustainable and socially responsible purchase. It conserves natural resources, has a smaller carbon footprint, supports fair labour practices and is cost-effective. By opting to buy solid gold and sterling silver jewellery made from recycled gold and sterling silver you are making a positive impact on the environment and society.
When choosing your new piece of solid gold or sterling silver jewellery made by hand by me you’ll know that you're making a responsible choice.
Buying handmade jewellery directly from a designer-maker offers many benefits that you won't find in mass-produced jewellery. Firstly, it is unique. Each piece is crafted by me, meaning that no two pieces are exactly alike. This makes my handmade jewellery a special and one-of-a-kind choice that is sure to stand out.
Buying handmade jewellery directly from me is often more personal. I am happy to work with customers to create a custom piece that is tailored to their preferences, which is a great way to create a truly special piece of jewellery. This can also add a sentimental value to the piece, knowing that it is specially crafted for you.
Buying handmade jewellery directly from designer-makers also supports small business and independent artisans. I make my jewellery from home and rely on my craft as a source of income. By purchasing my pieces, you are not only getting a beautiful and unique item, but you are also helping to support a small business and the local economy.
Choosing handmade solid gold and sterling silver jewellery from a jewellery designer-maker such as myself offers many benefits, such as its unique design, high-quality and durability, supporting small businesses and independent artisans, and a more personal experience. By choosing handmade jewellery from a designer-maker, you can rest assured that you are making a responsible and ethical choice that will last for years to come.

This handmade solid recycled 9ct gold triangle bracelet is one of my new signature pieces, designed to be both meaningful and timeless. I make each one by hand in my small studio, using ethically sourced, fully recycled gold to create jewellery that’s as kind to the planet as it is beautiful to wear.
💛 The Meaning Behind the Design
Triangles are one of the oldest symbols known to humankind. They can represent strength, balance, creativity, and connection – mind, body, spirit – or past, present, future. The interlocking design adds extra meaning: unity, deep relationships, and the beauty of interconnected lives. It’s a piece full of intention and story, making it a thoughtful gift or personal talisman.
♻️ Why Recycled Gold?
I use solid 9ct recycled gold – never plated, filled or hollow. Choosing recycled gold helps minimise environmental impact by reducing the demand for mining and preserving natural resources. You get a piece of heirloom-quality jewellery that’s both sustainable and ethical.
🖐 Handmade with Love
Every triangle is individually hand-cut, soldered, and hammered by me, giving each necklace a slightly different texture and character. No mass production – just honest, slow-made craftsmanship with heart. I also polish each piece to a soft, golden glow that’s flattering on all skin tones.
🎁 Perfect for Gifting (or Keeping!)
This necklace is a versatile, meaningful gift – ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, or simply to say “I’m thinking of you.” It’s also a lovely piece to buy for yourself as a reminder of your strength, growth, and connection to others. I package all orders in eco-friendly, gift-ready packaging, so they’re ready to give (or unwrap yourself!).
👗 How to Style
Lightweight and dainty, it’s perfect for everyday wear but special enough for an evening out. You can wear it solo for a refined, minimalist look or layer it with other necklaces for a more bohemian vibe. However you style it, it’s designed to be effortlessly elegant.

More information about triangles....
Triangles represent a range of concepts, often symbolising strength, stability, and power, but also potentially conflict, danger, or even a sense of movement and direction. The direction of the point can also influence its meaning; an upright triangle suggests stability, while an inverted triangle can evoke excitement or risk. Additionally, triangles are associated with the number three, the Holy Trinity, and various other spiritual and cultural concepts.
Here's a more detailed look at the various meanings:
Strength and Stability:
Triangles are considered a strong shape, particularly in construction, and are often associated with stability and power, as exemplified by the pyramids in Egypt.
They can also represent the strength and resilience of the Creative Spirit, as seen in jewelry designs.
Upright triangles are frequently used to convey a sense of stability and power.
Conflict and Action:
Triangles can also symbolize action, tension, and conflict, representing energy and dynamism.
Inverted triangles can evoke feelings of excitement and risk-taking, subverting expectations.
Spiritual and Cultural Meanings:
Triangles are connected to the Holy Trinity, the number three, and the concept of the "Divine".
They can symbolise the relationship between spirit, mind, and body, or past, present, and future.
In some contexts, triangles represent the "Feminine" and "Masculine" energies.
Other Meanings:
Triangles can also represent power, purpose, and direction.
They are sometimes used to represent movement, drive, and innovation.
In logo design, triangles can be used to represent specific letters like "A" or "V".
In mathematics, the triangle symbol is used to represent a difference, an angle, and other mathematical concepts.
