When it comes to choosing the perfect piece of jewellery, it’s great to consider something that is not only beautiful but also sustainable. One option is by choosing jewellery that has been made from solid recycled gold or sterling silver. Not only does recycled gold and sterling silver reduce the environmental impact of mining, but it also helps to preserve our natural resources, it is just as high quality as newly mined gold and silver.
Recycled gold and sterling silver is an environmentally friendly and socially responsible alternative to mined gold and silver. I purchase my gold and sterling silver from a company that has made the gold or sterling silver into sheet and wire by melting down and purifying existing gold and sterling silver jewellery, coins, and other items. This process conserves natural resources and reduces the negative impacts of gold and silver mining, such as deforestation, habitat destruction, and pollution.
Recycled gold and sterling silver is an excellent choice for those looking to make a more sustainable and socially responsible purchase. It conserves natural resources, has a smaller carbon footprint, supports fair labour practices and is cost-effective. By opting to buy solid gold and sterling silver jewellery made from recycled gold and sterling silver you are making a positive impact on the environment and society.
When choosing your new piece of solid gold or sterling silver jewellery made by hand by me you’ll know that you're making a responsible choice.

The infinity symbol is a mathematical concept that represents an endless loop, symbolizing the idea of eternal or infinite existence. It's a fascinating and widely recognized symbol that has many meanings and interpretations. In this article, we will explore the history, meaning, and significance of the infinity symbol.

History of the Infinity Symbol

The infinity symbol has its origins in mathematics, where it represents an infinite quantity or number. It was first introduced by mathematician John Wallis in 1655, who used the symbol as a shorthand notation for the concept of an infinite sum. However, the symbol gained widespread popularity outside of mathematics in the 19th century, when it was adopted by philosophers, theologians, and artists as a symbol of infinity and eternity.

Meaning and Significance of the Infinity Symbol

The infinity symbol has many different meanings and interpretations, depending on the context and culture. In mathematics, the symbol represents an unending sequence or quantity, such as an infinite series or an infinitely large number. In philosophy and theology, it represents the idea of eternal existence or the infinite nature of God.

The infinity symbol is also commonly used in art and design, where it can represent endless creativity, infinite possibilities, or the interconnectedness of all things. It's often used in jewelry and tattoos as a symbol of love, friendship, or devotion, representing a never-ending bond between two people.

Another reason why the infinity symbol is so popular in jewellery design is its versatility. It can be worn as an everyday piece, dressed up for a special occasion, or layered with other jewellery for a trendy and fashionable look. Its simplicity also makes it a great choice for men's jewellery, providing a subtle yet meaningful touch.

The infinity symbol is often used to represent eternal love or a bond that is never-ending. This is why it has become a popular choice for engagement rings, wedding bands, and other types of romantic jewellery. The symbol can also represent a love for a particular hobby, sport, or interest that is everlasting.

The infinity symbol is a powerful and versatile symbol that has been used for centuries to represent the concept of infinity and eternity. Whether you're a mathematician, philosopher, theologian, artist, or just someone who appreciates the beauty and meaning of the infinity symbol, it's a symbol that has something to offer everyone. By understanding the history and meaning of the infinity symbol, we can gain a deeper appreciation for its significance and the role it plays in our lives.

Why choose 9ct gold?

Gold is a precious metal that has been coveted for centuries for its beauty, rarity, and durability. When it comes to buying gold jewellery, there are many different options available, ranging from 18ct gold to 9ct gold. In this blog post, we'll focus on the reasons for buying solid 9ct gold jewellery.

First and foremost, 9ct gold is an affordable option for those who want to invest in high-quality jewellery without breaking the bank. It contains 37.5% pure gold and is mixed with other metals such as copper, silver, and zinc to create a durable and long-lasting alloy. This means that 9ct gold is less expensive than higher karat golds, such as 18ct or 24ct, while still maintaining a beautiful, rich colour and lustre.

Another advantage of 9ct gold is that it is more durable and scratch-resistant than higher karat golds. This is because the alloy used to create 9ct gold is harder and less malleable than the purer gold used in higher karat golds. As a result, 9ct gold jewellery is less likely to scratch or bend, making it a great choice for everyday wear.

Additionally, 9ct gold is more resistant to tarnishing and discoloration than higher karat golds. This is because the alloy used in 9ct gold contains a higher percentage of base metals, which are less reactive to the environment than pure gold. This means that 9ct gold jewellery will maintain its beautiful colour and shine for longer, even with daily wear.

One more reason to buy solid 9ct gold jewellery is that it offers a wide variety of styles and designs to choose from. Whether you prefer delicate and intricate pieces or bold and statement-making designs, 9ct gold jewellery is available in a range of styles to suit your tastes and preferences. You can find everything from simple and classic hoop earrings to unique and intricate statement necklaces, all made from durable and long-lasting 9ct gold.

In conclusion, there are many reasons to consider buying solid 9ct gold jewellery. Its affordability, durability, resistance to tarnishing, and wide variety of styles make it a great investment for anyone looking to add high-quality jewellery to their collection. Whether you're buying a piece for yourself or as a gift for someone special, 9ct gold jewellery is a timeless and classic choice that is sure to be treasured for years to come.
